Program Note: Our May presentation will be on the Milpillas Mine in Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico. This mine has produced some world class malachite after azurite pseudomorphs, azurites, cuprites, and brochantites. It is our privilege to have as our presenter Evan Jones, a long-time mineral collector and dealer, who visited the mine and has handled many specimens from this mine. See the newsletter for details.
